Pesto Pasta

















































Ingredients

4 cups basil leaves
2 garlic cloves, peeled
3 tablespoons pine nuts
1/2 cup Romano or parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Toast the pine nuts in a small skillet until lightly browned (2-3 minutes).

Place basil, garlic, toasted pine nuts and olive oil in a food processor. Once all ingredients are well blended into a paste, stir in cheese.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
